Project Introduction
Students from the 1966 graduating class of Hyde Park High School recently had their 40-year reunion. As a commemorative souvenir, I made an interactive DVD and a CD containing videos, photos and speeches from the 2-day event.
My Role
Design and production of all material
Development Method
I combined material and souvenirs from the coordination committee with my own photographic material. I paid special attention to making the DVD presentation as intuitive as possible (so that it could be used on any standard DVD player) as some of the attendees had little experience with interactive presentations. An outside company supplied the disks and did the duplication and printing.
Project Special Features
- A 60’s style cinema theme
- A simple menu structure that can be navigated easily with a standard DVD remote control.
- Slideshows, video footage, guest lists and music from the event to bring back memories for years to come!
