Project Introduction
Legal Courier Services is a specialist courier company that services the legal industry. To streamline and expand their business they needed a Web site for advertising purposes and to provide a way for clients to book their services. I created the site with PHP to process the booking form and with CSS and XHTML to make a fast-loading and accessible site.
My Role
Design and development of the entire site.
Development Method
After a few iterations, a final design was settled on. The client provided me with stock photos that I integrated into the site to give the corporate and professional look that was requested, using the existing company logo as the foundational hue. Once design templates were completed, the client provided me with the necessary textual content. I converted an existing MS Word-based booking form into an XHTML and CSS form which was processed with PHP. I also created a PHP based contact form. As the site was not hosted by me, I made the necessary arrangements to upload the site to a destination server of their choosing.
